High Speed Steel

BTM uses M2 high-speed steel for all of it's cut-off blades for increased life, performance, strength, and flatness.  We stock several common material sizes in order to provide you with the shortest lead time possible.

Heat Treat/Tempering

We have the capability to vacuum heat treat or cryogenic.  Cryogenic tempering can add compressive strength and durability to your blades.

Coating

We offer a wide variety of coatings that can help increase lubricity and durability of your blades: Titanium Nitride (TiN), Titanium Carbo-Nitride (TiCN), Titanium Aluminum Nitride (TiAIN) and many more...
